Diamond circle Super Jeep tour
We start our tour from Akureyri, following Eyjafjörður and over the mountain pass direction Goðafoss. Our first stop, the waterfall of the Gods. Afterwards we will keep on driving direction Mývatn, where we discover the amazing lavaformations of Dimmuborgir and the geothermal area of Námaskard, where the earth is boiling.
Hot springs and waterfalls
Our first stop is Goðafoss, the waterfall of the Gods. From there to the valley of Bárðardalur to discover Aldeyjarfoss with its unique basalt pillars and we will close our waterfall triology by visiting Hrafnabjargarfoss. Obviously we will experience hot springs.
Laugarfell hot springs
We take a trip following Eyjafjörður valley all the way up to the highlands of Iceland. There you experience the untouched nature, remote areas and peacefulness which is hard to find in the modern world. The drive takes about two hours each way through a breath taking scenery.
Fishing with a local
I am an experienced angler and a certified professional tour guide that will take you fishing for a day in the north of Iceland just like most of the locals do it.
Highlights include Dettifoss and Selfoss waterfalls. Hafragilsfoss waterfall if it is accessible. Mývatn, Dimmuborgir, Mývatn Nature Bath, Goðafoss Waterfall and a proper Super Jeep Adventure. Snowshoeing (provided) if conditions allow.
Superjeep play day in the snow
On a snowy day, we drive through a snow filled valley with the tires deflated for better flotation. This North Iceland half-day tour is ideal for those who do not have the time for an entire day tour but still want to sample a bit of North Iceland.
Hot springs and waterfalls in winter
We start our tour from Akureyri, following Eyjafjörður and over the mountain pass direction Goðafoss. Our first stop, the waterfall of the Gods. Afterwards we will head towards Mývatn, where we discover the boiling earth at Námaskarð geothermal area.
